ABOUT

We're a local family owned company which has built quality homes on the Sunshine Coast for over 30 years.

Ron Watt started his building career at the age of 15, some 60 years ago under the instruction of his own father who first build was in Coolum in 1957. Ron recalls, "my dad used to put on a suit to ride his bike to the work site, with his tool bag hung across the handle bars". How times have changed and Watt Building has changed along with them, but we still know what it is to be a quality craftsman, taking pride in every home we build.

Ron has now passed the reigns over to his son David, who is now the Director and Lead Builder at Watt Building. He is a sixth generation trade qualified carpenter, and third generation Builder on the Sunshine Coast. He has construction experience in new home builds, commercial fit outs, multi-residential and dual dwellings, industrial builds, swimming pools, as well as extensions and renovations. This knowledge combined with first class trades people enables David and his team to attain a high quality of workman-ship, as well as job satisfaction.
